Based off of the success of the limited-edition hardcover, Pacific is releasing the first softcover printing of The Nelson George Mixtape. The anthology gathers together articles by George from 1978–1993. Early articles for Record World and the Village Voice chronicle the birth of hip hop in New York City, leading to features on some of the biggest names in music, including Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones, and unpublished interviews with legends like Bob Marley.
